Job Description Job Description We are looking for a sharp, client-focused attorney to join our real estate and business law practice. We are open to candidates with transactional experience, litigation experience, or both. This is an opportunity to build a well-rounded practice handling real estate transactions and related disputes in a fast-paced, high-performing environment. If you take ownership of your files, communicate clearly, and thrive in a team that moves quickly and gets results, you will do very well here.
What You'll Do:
Transactional:
Run residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract through post-closing Identify and resolve title, lien, survey, and contract issues Communicate proactively with clients, lenders, realtors, and third parties Keep deals moving efficiently while protecting the client at every stage
Litigation:
Manage all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and pleadings Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and (as applicable) trial Develop and execute litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys Handle disputes involving real estate, contracts, and business matters What We're Looking For Florida-licensed attorney in good standing 2+ years of experience , ideally in real estate, business law, or civil litigation Strong understanding of contracts and/or litigation process Ability to manage multiple matters without things slipping through the cracks Excellent communication skills-clear, direct, and responsive Solutions-oriented mindset-you don't just identify issues, you solve them Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with the ability to take ownership of files Bonus Points Real estate closing/title experience Litigation experience (general liability, professional liability, or business disputes) Courtroom, mediation, or deposition experience Notary commission (or willingness to obtain-firm will cover cost) Experience with Qualia Compensation & Benefits Base salary starting at $150,000+, commensurate with experience Performance-based bonuses tied to productivity and originations Medical and dental insurance contributions Generous PTO Opportunity to build and grow your own book of business Mentorship and hands-on experience in both transactions and litigation Why Golm Law Firm Established, well-respected firm in the Sarasota/Manatee market High volume of real estate work and growing litigation pipeline Strong marketing presence and consistent inbound client flow Efficient systems and support staff so you can focus on practicing law Direct mentorship and real growth opportunity (owner retiring in the next 10 years)
