Our practice includes real estate law, estate planning, probate, family law, criminal defense, and business law. The Opportunity GMTB Law is seeking an experienced Corporate Attorney to join our successful business law practice. This position offers the opportunity to serve a diverse client base of entrepreneurs, closely-held businesses, and established enterprises throughout Central Florida. You will work alongside experienced partners in a collegial environment with a strong existing client base. Primary Responsibilities Advise clients on the formation, structure, and governance of business entities, including LLCs, corporations, and partnerships Counsel business owners through mergers, acquisitions, and sales of businesses, including due diligence, negotiation, and closing Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, and related transaction documents Handle licensing matters, including commercial license agreements and regulatory compliance Advise business owners on employment matters, including employment agreements, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, independent contractor arrangements, and workplace policy compliance Collaborate with firm attorneys on matters involving real estate, estate planning, and related transactional work Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school; active Florida Bar membership in good standing Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate, business, or transactional law Demonstrated experience in business entity formation and transactional matters Strong drafting and negotiating skills Ability to manage client relationships independently while collaborating with firm partners Experience with employment matters from the employer/owner perspective is a plus Brevard County or Central Florida ties strongly preferred, but not required What We Offer Competitive compensation commensurate with experience Established client base with immediate business law referral pipeline Collaborative, professionally supportive firm culture Opportunity to build and grow a corporate practice within a respected, established firm In-person position based in Cocoa, Florida — the heart of
