Miami or Fort Lauderdale, FL Experience:
5+ years Our client, an Am Law 200 full-service law firm, is seeking a mid-to-senior level Land Use & Zoning Associate to join its established Florida practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated development and regulatory matters while advising developers, investors, and property owners on high-profile projects across the region.
What You'll Work On:
Advising clients on zoning, land use, and development-related matters Handling site plan, entitlement, permitting, and regulatory compliance issues Navigating local and state government approval processes Providing strategic guidance on development risk and land use positioning Working closely with developers, project teams, and governmental agencies Supporting complex commercial and mixed-use development projects
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of land use and zoning experience Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills Experience working with permitting, entitlements, and regulatory matters Ability to manage matters independently and interact directly with clients Strong academic credentials preferred JD from an ABA-accredited law school Active Florida Bar admission required
