This role is ideal for an experienced litigator with 7+ years of relevant experience and proven first‑chair or significant trial experience . You will manage complex cases, mentor junior attorneys, and play a key role in client strategy and firm growth. Responsibilities Lead and manage a portfolio of commercial litigation and insurance defense matters Serve as first or second chair in trials, arbitrations, and mediations Develop case strategy, oversee discovery, and conduct depositions Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and paralegals Communicate directly with clients, carriers, and internal leadership Participate in business development and client‑relationship management Ensure compliance with litigation deadlines, billing expectations, and quality standards Qualifications 7+ years of experience in commercial litigation and/or insurance defense Demonstrated trial experience (first‑chair or substantial second‑chair) Strong research, writing, and oral‑advocacy skills Ability to independently manage complex caseloads Experience working with insurance carriers and understanding billing guidelines Leadership mindset with the ability to mentor and elevate the pod
