Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Pre Litigation Personal Injury (P.I.) Attorney to join our legal team. In this vital role, you will spearhead the early stages of personal injury claims, conducting thorough legal research, drafting essential documents, and evaluating case viability. Your expertise will help streamline the litigation process, ensuring clients receive diligent representation from the outset. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your broad legal knowledge across multiple practice areas, including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and more. Your proactive approach and strong negotiation skills will be instrumental in managing pre-litigation cases efficiently and effectively. Duties Conduct comprehensive legal research utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal databases to support case evaluations and strategy development Draft and review pre-litigation documents such as demand letters, settlement offers, pleadings, and correspondence with clients and opposing parties Evaluate case merits by analyzing medical records, accident reports, and relevant legal statutes across diverse practice areas Assist in negotiating settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel to resolve claims amicably before litigation Coordinate with clients to gather necessary documentation and provide updates on case progress Prepare detailed case summaries and maintain organized case files within the law office management system Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies based on thorough legal research and factual analysis Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required Proven experience in personal injury laws Excellent writing skills for drafting demand letters, pleadings, and legal memoranda in
ENGLISH AND SPANISH
Familiarity with litigation procedures and pre-litigation processes across multiple practice areas including environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and immigration law Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with insurance companies and opposing counsel Legal administrative experience to manage case files efficiently and meet deadlines Fluent in both English and Spanish Join our team to make a meaningful impact by ensuring clients receive diligent pre-litigation support.
