Commercial Litigation Attorney 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Naples, FL 34108 Everforth CyberCoders 91 reviews Commercial Litigation Attorney Position Overview We are seeking a mid-level Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of experience in commercial and civil litigation to join our Naples team. This is a full-time, in-office role focused on handling sophisticated business disputes, including contract actions, shareholder disputes, real estate litigation, and other commercial matters. The ideal candidate is a skilled advocate with strong Florida court experience, excellent writing abilities, and a client-focused mindset. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of litigation matters from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. Conduct legal research, draft memoranda, motions, briefs, and other court filings. Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and participate in mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings. Collaborate closely with partners and associates to develop case strategies and provide practical advice to clients. Perform factual investigations and coordinate with experts as needed. Ensure compliance with all applicable Florida Rules of Civil Procedure, federal rules, and local court requirements. Contribute to business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships. Mentor junior team members and support the growth of the Naples litigation practice.
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in commercial/civil litigation (Florida Bar admission required; experience in Southwest Florida courts strongly preferred).
Education:
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Admission:
Licensed to practice in Florida (in good standing).
Skills:
Strong litigation skills with demonstrated success in motion practice, discovery management, and trial readiness. Excellent written and oral advocacy abilities. Proficiency in legal research tools (Westlaw/Lexis) and Microsoft Office Suite. Superior analytical, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to handle multiple matters efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a mid-to-large law firm is preferred.
