  • We focus on education, effective litigation, collaboration, expanding access to justice, identifying community needs, and challenging adverse systems, laws, and policies. Position Summary
  • The Immigration Law Unit handles cases including deportation defense, family- and humanitarian-based immigration benefits, T and U Visas, VAWA applications, and asylum.
  • Responsibilities include direct client representation before Immigration Court and USCIS, community education and outreach, bar participation, and special legal/community projects. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Sensitivity and awareness of the needs of the populations served.
  • Ability to manage a large caseload professionally in a high-stress environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with attorneys, support staff, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Constructive teamwork capability.
  • Multilingual ability is a plus. Education & Experience
  • Member in good standing of the Florida Bar Association.
  • 1-3 years of Immigration law experience preferred.
  • Experience serving low-income individuals, crime victims, veterans, or marginalized communities preferred but not required. What We Offer
