Job Description

Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Partner to join and strengthen our Trusts, Estates, and Wealth Preservation practice in our Naples office. This is a high-profile lateral opportunity for a sophisticated estate planning attorney with a substantial portable book of business. We are looking for a seasoned attorney who specializes in serving high-net-worth individuals and families. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in complex estate planning, wealth transfer strategies, and trust administration, along with a proven ability to originate and maintain significant client relationships.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide sophisticated estate planning counsel to high-net-worth clients, including the design and implementation of customized wealth preservation strategies.

Draft and advise on complex wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, family limited partnerships, charitable giving vehicles, and advanced tax planning structures.

Handle wealth transfer planning, estate and gift tax matters, and business succession planning.

Manage trust administration and probate matters.

Build and expand a robust book of business through exceptional client service and business development.

Collaborate with colleagues across the firm's other practice areas (tax, real estate, corporate, etc.) to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.

Mentor and develop junior attorneys and support staff in the practice group.

QualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar (or eligibility to waive in).Experience in Trusts & Estates, with a strong focus on high-net-worth estate planning and wealth preservation.

Significant portable book of business - candidates should have a demonstrated track record of originating and managing client relationships, ideally with high-net-worth individuals and families.

Extensive experience with sophisticated planning techniques, including irrevocable life insurance trusts (ILITs), grantor retained annuity trusts (GRATs), dynasty trusts, and charitable planning.

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.

Strong business development acumen and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
