Civil Litigation Associate Attorney Requirements & Qualifications Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Admitted to practice law in the State of Florida and in good standing with the Florida Bar. 3-6 years of experience in insurance defense, product liability, premises liability, civil litigation, or related areas of law. Strong work ethic and commitment to providing exceptional legal services to clients. Civil Litigation Associate Attorney Day-to-Day Responsibilities Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings. Conduct legal research and analysis to identify legal issues and develop strategies. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and prepare cases for trial. Attend hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings as necessary. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to provide exceptional legal services to clients.
