Job Description

Vaughan McLean seeks a talented attorney with 3 - 5 years of Workers' Compensation experience to join its Palm Beach Gardens office . We are seeking applicants who have excellent writing and communication skills in an active, rapid-paced litigation practice. The partners in the Palm Beach Gardens office seek a bright, hard working person with good judgment, effective communication skills, and attention to detail. The salary is competitive and based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of cases in Workers' Compensation. Draft legal documents including briefs, pleadings, motions, and legal summaries/evaluations/analysis. Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations. Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide legal advice. Assist in managing case files, deadlines, and client communications. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice areas.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admitted to practice law in the state with good standing. Experience or knowledge in workers' compensation is required. Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw. Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Prior experience in a Law Office setting is a required. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure. Trial experience is required.
