Job Description

Meredith Bush Law is a growing boutique law firm in Pensacola representing developers, property owners, and businesses in significant land use, zoning, local government, real estate, community association, and related civil matters throughout Northwest Florida. The firm seeks an Associate Attorney interested in developing strong drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills while working directly with clients and government entities. The position involves a wide range of assignments typical of a small but sophisticated practice, including legal research, drafting pleadings and agreements, assisting with hearings and litigation matters, preparing land use and development applications, and participating in client meetings and strategy discussions. The position offers meaningful drafting and client responsibility early in practice and is well suited for attorneys interested in real estate development and land use work. Applicants should possess strong writing and organizational skills, professional judgment, and the ability to manage deadlines independently. Prior experience in real estate, land use, local government, litigation, or transactional work is helpful but not required. Recent graduates and experienced attorneys are encouraged to apply. Accurate timekeeping and billing discipline are essential. The firm utilizes Clio for case management and timekeeping and LexisNexis for legal research. Standard office hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional additional time commitments depending on hearings, deadlines, or project needs. Competitive compensation and bonuses are tied to productivity and professional development. The position is well suited for an attorney seeking long-term professional growth and meaningful responsibility within a collegial and entrepreneurial practice.
