Description Trusts & Estates Associate Location:
Southwest Florida A well-established and growing law firm is seeking a Trusts & Estates Associate (2-5 years) to join its collaborative, client-focused team. This is a hands-on opportunity for an attorney looking to gain meaningful experience, work closely with clients, and build toward a long-term career path with partnership potential. The Role- Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and related instruments
- Manage probate and trust administration matters from start to finish
- Conduct legal research and provide practical, client-friendly guidance
- Communicate directly with clients, advisors, and internal team members
- Participate in client meetings and ongoing relationship management
- Take on increasing responsibility for case management and business development Schedule
- Monday-Friday, standard business hours
- Primarily onsite with limited flexibility Compensation
- $100,000-$135,000 base (DOE)
- Discretionary performance-based bonus
- Billable requirement: approx. 1,620 hours annually Ideal Background

- At least 2 years of experience in trusts and estates, estate planning, probate, or closely related legal work.
- Active license to practice law and ability to work as a licensed attorney in the applicable jurisdiction.
- Demonstrated strength in legal drafting with close attention to accuracy and detail.
- Ability to explain legal concepts in a straightforward, client-focused manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a relationship-oriented approach to client service.
- Excellent organization, responsiveness, and ability to manage multiple matters effectively.
- Experience with litigation-related tasks such as motion drafting, briefing, or discovery is beneficial.
