Job Description

Litigation AssociateLocation:
Southwest FloridaA well-established and growing law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate (2-5 years) to join its collaborative team. This is a hands-on opportunity to work on a diverse range of civil litigation matters while receiving direct mentorship and developing toward a long-term career path with partnership potential.

The Role
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
  • Conduct legal research and factual investigations
  • Assist with hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel
  • Manage case files, deadlines, and litigation calendars
  • Work closely with attorneys and support staff on active matters
  • Take on increasing responsibility for case strategy, client interaction, and case managementSchedule
  • Monday-Friday, standard business hours (8:30am-5:00pm)
  • Primarily onsite with limited flexibilityCompensation
  • $100,000-$135,000 DOE
  • Discretionary year-end bonus
  • Billable requirement: approx. 1,620 hours annuallyIdeal Background
  • 2-5 years of civil litigation experience
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Excellent organization and time management abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
