Litigation AssociateLocation:
Southwest FloridaA well-established and growing law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate (2-5 years) to join its collaborative team. This is a hands-on opportunity to work on a diverse range of civil litigation matters while receiving direct mentorship and developing toward a long-term career path with partnership potential.The Role
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
- Conduct legal research and factual investigations
- Assist with hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel
- Manage case files, deadlines, and litigation calendars
- Work closely with attorneys and support staff on active matters
- Take on increasing responsibility for case strategy, client interaction, and case managementSchedule
- Monday-Friday, standard business hours (8:30am-5:00pm)
- Primarily onsite with limited flexibilityCompensation
- $100,000-$135,000 DOE
- Discretionary year-end bonus
- Billable requirement: approx. 1,620 hours annuallyIdeal Background
- 2-5 years of civil litigation experience
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
