Possess a law degree from an accredited law school Member of The Florida Bar in good standing Knowledge of criminal laws and procedures Ability to manage a high-volume caseload Commitment to public service and protecting the rights of victims

Summary of Duties:

Applicants must have knowledge and ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both oral and in writing. Prosecutorial criminal casework. Conduct legal research and writing. Conduct depositions and interview witnesses, victims, and law enforcement to prepare cases for prosecution. Trial work includes case preparation, jury selection, examining and cross-examining witnesses, opening statements, and closing arguments for trial. Proficient management of casework. The ability to use office computer software and equipment.
