Litigation Associate - Sarasota, FL

  • : Fox Rothschild is seeking a talented and motivated litigation associate to join our growing practice in Sarasota, Florida.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with approximately three to five years of litigation experience to take on substantive responsibility, work directly with clients, and advance their career in a collaborative and supportive environment. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position.
  • Qualifications:
  • + Juris Doctor (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Florida.
  • Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • + Strong research skills, writing skills, and academic record are required.
+ Federal court and state court experience is required. + General commercial litigation is required. + Financial services experience is strongly preferred but not required. + Strong written and oral advocacy skills, sound legal judgment, and attention to detail. + Client-focused mindset with a high degree of professionalism and discretion. + Demonstrated ability to manage complex matters independently while collaborating effectively with teams. + Experience with trials and depositions, including drafting dispositive motions. + Experience with eDiscovery, including collection, review and production of electronically stored documents in Florida state and federal matters preferred.
