This is a collegial environment with a strong team of legal professionals and an excellent benefits package. The Role You will own your files end-to-end across all areas of family law including dissolution of marriage, custody, support, equitable distribution, and related civil matters. The firm handles both contested and uncontested matters and expects the paralegal in this seat to operate with minimal supervision across the full case lifecycle. Core Responsibilities Manage files independently from intake through trial Draft and prepare family law pleadings, motions, and correspondence Handle all areas of mandatory disclosure and financial affidavits Prepare and organize discovery and related financial data Calculate child support guidelines, alimony alternatives, and equitable distribution charts Maintain familiarity with Florida Family Law Rules of Procedure and local Hillsborough County court requirements Manage legal documents and records across an active docket Coordinate directly with clients, courts, and opposing counsel What We Are Looking For Demonstrated family law paralegal experience handling files from intake through resolution Working knowledge of Florida Family Law Rules of Procedure and local Tampa / Hillsborough County court systems Experience with mandatory disclosure, financial affidavits, child support guidelines, and equitable distribution Proficient in MS Office 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel), practice management software, and divorce planning software Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume docket without hand-holding Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary Health insurance Disability coverage Generous PTO plan Paid holidays Paid parking This search is being conducted confidentially by True Search Group.
