Coastal Pointe Homes / Coastal Equity Funding Coastal Pointe Homes is seeking an experienced In-House Counsel to join our growing legal team as we continue expanding both our real estate development and private lending operations. We are actively building and expanding our internal legal department and are looking for someone who can operate both strategically and operationally across a fast-moving real estate and investment platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with: contract drafting and negotiation, real estate transactions, operational legal oversight, and civil litigation management. This role will work closely with executive leadership and internal departments across construction, acquisitions, lending, operations, sales, and corporate management. Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, amendments, and legal documents Oversee legal matters related to real estate development, construction, acquisitions, and lending Manage litigation strategy and coordinate with outside litigation counsel Handle dispute resolution and civil litigation oversight Review operational risk and legal exposure across company activities Support corporate structuring, compliance, and operational initiatives Assist with vendor agreements, partnership agreements, and employment-related matters Provide day-to-day legal guidance to leadership and operational teams Help build and scale the company's internal legal infrastructure and processes Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar Extensive contract drafting and negotiation experience
