Job Description
We are seeking a litigation attorney, preferably with defense experience, to support an in-house team with start to finish litigation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage defense litigation matters from initial review through trial preparation, keeping cases on track and aligned with deadlines.
- Develop case strategies, coordinate witness readiness, and support all stages of trial planning.
- Prepare and revise pleadings, motions, briefs, and related legal documents for court filings.
- Perform legal research tied to Georgia statutes, court rules, and relevant case law to support litigation strategy.
- Submit documents through electronic court filing systems accurately and within required timeframes.
- Review medical records in detail, assemble chronologies, and assess issues involving prior injuries or pre-existing conditions.
- Work closely with attorneys and legal staff to move matters forward efficiently and address case developments promptly.
- Maintain organized case documentation and updates within the designated case management platform.
