The Firm's services extend to the natural interplay among estate planning, tax controversies, business succession, matrimonial law, and related affinity practices. We are seeking a highly motivated, professional, and detail-oriented Family Law / Litigation Paralegal with 4+ years of experience to join our Atlanta office. This role is ideal for a paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment, enjoys hands-on involvement on complex matters, and is committed to delivering high-quality work with discretion and empathy.
What You Will Do:
As a Family Law / Litigation Paralegal at Harrison LLP, you will play an integral role in supporting attorneys through all phases of family law litigation, including matters involving complex financial and custody issues.
Responsibilities will include:
Assisting attorneys on a wide range of family law and domestic relations matters Actively supporting all stages of litigation, including: Drafting and responding to discovery, with a particular emphasis on complex financial discovery Assisting with contested custody and parenting matters Preparing pleadings, motions, affidavits, and supporting documentation E-filing pleadings and ensuring compliance with court rules Preparing for and attending mediations, court hearings, and trials Organizing and analyzing financial records relating to income tracing, asset division, and support calculations Managing case files, exhibits, and trial notebooks Calendaring deadlines and maintaining litigation timelines Navigating procedural requirements of the Fulton County Family Law Division and surrounding Metro Atlanta counties Working closely with attorneys and staff in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
What You Will Need:
Paralegal certification from an accredited program Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field 4+ years of Georgia family law / litigation paralegal experience Ability to work onsite in the Firm's Atlanta office five (5) days per week Strong working knowledge of Georgia family law, including divorce, custody, child support, adoption, guardianship, and support agreements Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and settlement documentation Experience managing interrogatories, subpoenas, exhibits, and trial preparation materials Familiarity with Georgia e-filing systems and local/state court rules Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and strict deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems Excellent communication skills and a consistent ability to interact with clients professionally, compassionately, and discreetly Initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team What Would Be Nice to

Target Salary Range:
$85,000 - $115,000 annually. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors including but not limited to experience and training, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This role will also be bonus eligible.
