They are currently seeking an experienced Removal Defense Attorney to join their high-impact legal team. This is a critical role designed for a "plug-and-play" legal professional who possesses the expertise to manage complex cases immediately and the heart to serve vulnerable populations with deep compassion.

Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will provide comprehensive legal representation for detained and non-detained clients in removal proceedings.
You will be expected to:
Litigate & Advocate:
Represent clients in Immigration Court for bond hearings, merits hearings, and specialized motions.
Federal Litigation:
Handle impact litigation and file habeas corpus petitions in federal court, specifically challenging 4th Amendment violations and indefinite detention.
Strategic Case Management:
Interview clients at detention centers to assess needs, advise on available relief, and prepare witnesses for testimony.
Adapt & Pivot:
Stay ahead of the evolving immigration landscape, adjusting legal strategies in real-time as case law and federal policies shift.
Mentorship:
Supervise and provide guidance to paralegals, legal assistants, and interns to ensure meticulous filing and grant compliance.
