Job Description

A well-established and growing law firm in Atlanta is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience to join its litigation team. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial and construction-related disputes while collaborating with experienced attorneys in a supportive and team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have prior litigation experience, strong legal writing skills, and exposure to construction litigation matters, including contract disputes, defect claims, delay claims, payment disputes, and other complex business-related litigation. Responsibilities Handle all phases of commercial and construction litigation matters Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda Conduct legal research and factual investigations Manage discovery, including document review and depositions Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and witnesses Assist with trial preparation and case strategy development Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active Georgia Bar admission (or ability to become admitted promptly) 1-5 years of litigation experience Experience with construction litigation strongly preferred Strong analytical, research, and writing skills Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment Qualified candidates seeking a long-term opportunity to develop their commercial and construction litigation practice are encouraged to apply.
