Job Description

Litigation Attorney Michael Day Law Firm is a fast-growing personal injury law firm in Atlanta dedicated to achieving outstanding results for our clients while providing a supportive and team-oriented workplace. Our litigation team handles motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and catastrophic injury cases throughout Georgia. We are seeking a Litigation Attorney with trial experience (or litigation background) to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious attorney who wants to work in a results-driven environment with clear opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a litigation caseload from filing through trial, including depositions, motions, mediations, and jury trials Draft pleadings, discovery, and trial briefs Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts Appear in court for hearings, motions, and trials Collaborate with case managers, paralegals, and senior attorneys to ensure the best outcomes for clients Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients regarding case status
Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate Admission to the State Bar of Georgia Willing to seek admittance into federal court if not already admitted. 2+ years of litigation or trial experience (defense side and personal injury strongly preferred but not required) Ability to manage multiple cases independently and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong interpersonal skills to engage with customers and work effectively as part of a team Legal writing and research skills Exceptional time management skills Strong ethical values Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and inventory management.
