We are looking to hire a Junior Associate Attorney who wants to develop into a strong litigation attorney and trial lawyer. This is a great opportunity for a newer attorney who wants hands-on experience, real responsibility, direct mentorship, and exposure to personal injury litigation from intake through settlement, litigation, and trial. About the Role The Junior Associate Attorney will assist with all phases of personal injury cases, including client communication, case investigation, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, settlement preparation, and trial support. You do not need to have years of personal injury experience, but you must be hardworking, organized, coachable, and willing to learn how to properly prepare and move cases forward.
Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:
Meeting and communicating with clients Reviewing medical records, police reports, insurance materials, and case documents Drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, demand letters, and correspondence Assisting with depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials Managing litigation deadlines and case tasks Communicating with insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, medical providers, and experts Helping evaluate liability, damages, causation, and case value Working closely with the senior attorney and staff to move cases efficiently Qualifications Licensed to practice law in Georgia, or awaiting Georgia Bar admission 0-3 years of legal experience preferred Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills Interest in personal injury litigation and trial work Ability to manage deadlines and multiple cases Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented Willingness to learn and be mentored Courtroom, moot court, mock trial, litigation, clerkship, or insurance experience is a plus What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who wants more than just a desk job. The right candidate should want to learn how to become a real advocate for injured people. You should be comfortable speaking with clients, digging into facts, learning medicine and damages, and developing the judgment needed to evaluate and litigate cases. This position is a good fit for an attorney who is ambitious, practical, and wants long-term growth with a busy personal injury practice. Compensation Competitive salary based on experience. Benefits and bonus structure may be discussed during the interview process. Schedule Full-time, Monday through Friday. Work Location Macon, Georgia.
