Job Description

Our growing firm is seeking an experienced attorney to help serve our existing and future client base. Candidates should have litigation experience and preferably experience in creditor's rights, collection and bankruptcy law. Our offices overlook the Chattahoochee River and the Chattahoochee Nature Preserve. Park in all covered parking and enjoy working with a vibrant team of legal professionals Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
  • Conduct legal research using resources such as Clio, Westlaw, proprietary solutions. Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings
  • Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact clients
  • Maintain accurate and organized case file
  • Help mentor associates Experience
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Proven experience in legal work, including writing, research, document drafting
  • Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw and computer competency with Microsoft products
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to client
  • Experience in litigation and courtroom procedures We will discuss compensation at the interview process, however our firm is prepared to appropriately compensate based on experience and qualifications.
