Our client, a well-established law firm in West Des Moines, IA, is seeking a self-motivated and hard-working Associate Attorney to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain meaningful experience in family law while building a practice and working toward a partnership track.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a range of family law matters under the supervision of senior attorneys.
• Advise clients on legal issues related to divorce, child custody, support, and related matters.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, agreements, and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and stay up to date on relevant family law developments.
• Represent clients in court, mediation, and other proceedings as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide high-quality legal services and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Iowa.
• Atleast 2 years of experience in family law.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a growing caseload.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated interest in building a practice and pursuing partnership opportunities.
