Medical Malpractice & Insurance Defense Associate Location:
Boise, ID (Downtown)
Position Type:

2+ Years The Opportunity We are representing a dynamic and highly supportive litigation firm in the heart of Downtown Boise seeking a motivated Associate Attorney. Key Responsibilities Specialized Defense:
Take an active role in defending prominent healthcare providers, medical professionals, and insurance carriers.
Litigation Management:
Handle various stages of discovery, including drafting interrogatories, requests for production, and supporting motions.
Advocacy:
Attend court hearings, participate in depositions, and assist in trial preparation for complex medical malpractice and general liability cases.
Research & Writing:
Conduct in-depth legal research and draft sophisticated briefs, legal memoranda, and status reports for sophisticated clients.
Qualifications Experience:
2+ years of experience in civil litigation is preferred. Experience in medical malpractice or insurance defense is a plus, but a strong litigation foundation is the priority.
Bar Admission:
Must be an active member in good standing of the Idaho State Bar.
Tech-Savvy:
Ability to utilize modern legal technology to manage files and research efficiently.
Mindset:
A proactive professional who is detail-oriented and possesses strong interpersonal skills for client interaction.
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary Range:
$105,000 - $130,000 (commensurate with experience).
