Job Description

Bankruptcy Attorney - Premier Consumer Rights Firm (Idaho) A thriving, full-service law firm focused on financial restructuring and consumer advocacy is seeking a dedicated Bankruptcy Attorney to join their team. This firm is known for its fast-paced, client-centered environment and is looking for a proactive professional who can provide relief and strategic guidance to individuals navigating financial hardship. This is a full-time opportunity for an attorney who enjoys high-level client interaction and wants to manage cases from inception through discharge within a supportive, growth-oriented culture. The Role You will take a lead role in the firm's bankruptcy practice, managing a robust caseload of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 matters. This position requires a balance of compassionate client counseling and sharp administrative and courtroom advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
Full Case Management:
Direct handling of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases from initial intake through final discharge.
Advocacy:
Representing clients at 341 meetings of creditors and various court hearings.
Legal Drafting:
Preparing and filing detailed bankruptcy petitions, schedules, motions, and pleadings.
Counseling:
Advising clients on bankruptcy options, exemptions, and long-term financial implications.
Collaboration:
Communicating effectively with trustees, creditors' counsel, and court personnel.
Candidate Requirements Experience:
Minimum of 3+ years of dedicated experience in bankruptcy law.
Licensure:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in the Idaho State Bar in good standing.
Skills:
Strong legal writing, exceptional organizational habits, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
