This is a full time position that precludes a remote arrangement.
General position description:
Under general supervision, performs entry level professional legal work within the Ogle County State's Attorney's Office in various units including Misdemeanor, DUI, Traffic, Juvenile, and Domestic Violence. All other duties as assigned. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction Strong research skills utilizing Westlaw or LexisNexis for comprehensive legal analysis Excellent writing skills demonstrated through clear legal drafting of motions, reports, and correspondence Individuals interested in applying for the Assistant State's Attorney position should provide a cover letter, resume, references (with email addresses), a writing sample and salary requirements.
