Job Overview This is a fee split opportunity, not a salaried job so you will have the opportunity to earn based on your efforts. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Civil Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing a diverse portfolio of civil litigation cases, providing expert legal counsel, and advocating effectively for our clients. Your expertise will span multiple practice areas, including probate, family law, family law, landlord-tenant law, construction law, real esate litigation, contract and business law, and more. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex legal issues while honing your litigation skills in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for conducting thorough legal research using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw, drafting legal documents with precision, and representing clients in negotiations and court proceedings. All you have to focus on is practicing law. Responsibilities Manage and oversee civil litigation cases from inception through resolution, including case investigation, discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation Conduct comprehensive legal research utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, settlement agreements, and correspondence with clarity and professionalism Advise clients on various legal matters across practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, landlord-tenant disputes, immigration issues, and others Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes while maintaining strong professional relationships Represent clients in court proceedings and mediations with confidence and thorough preparation Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and ensure the highest standards of legal service are maintained Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Admission to the state bar with active licensing status Proven experience in civil litigation with familiarity across multiple practice areas such as probate, family law, family law, landlord-tenant law, construction law, real esate litigation, contract and business law, and more Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms for effective case analysis Excellent legal drafting and writing skills with attention to detail Demonstrated negotiation abilities to resolve disputes efficiently Prior experience working in a busy law office environment with strong organizational skills Knowledge of legal administrative procedures including case management systems Excellent undertanding of customer service practices Join our team if you're passionate about delivering exceptional legal services across diverse practice areas!
