Job Description

Insurance Defense Associate Attorney (3-5 Years Experience) A respected regional law firm is seeking an Insurance Defense Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join its growing litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a variety of insurance defense matters, including general liability, premises liability, transportation, construction defect, and/or professional liability claims. This role offers substantial hands-on litigation experience, direct client interaction, and opportunities to manage cases through all phases of litigation.
Responsibilities:
Handle all aspects of insurance defense litigation from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence Conduct depositions, court appearances, mediations, and hearings Work closely with clients, carriers, and senior attorneys on case strategy Manage case files proactively and efficiently
Qualifications:
3-5 years of insurance defense litigation experience Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills Experience taking and defending depositions preferred Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload Licensed and in good standing in the applicable state bar(s) The firm offers a collaborative work environment, mentorship opportunities, sophisticated litigation matters, and a competitive compensation and benefits package.
