Job Description

Attorney - Multi-State Litigation Practice (Indianapolis, Indiana) Andrews & Cox, P.C. is seeking an attorney to join our growing multi-state creditors' rights and litigation practice based in Indianapolis, Indiana. This position is physically located in Indianapolis. Candidates currently licensed in Mississippi are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates licensed in other jurisdictions who are willing to obtain Mississippi licensure will also be considered. We represent financial institutions and creditors throughout multiple states and are seeking a motivated attorney interested in joining a stable, growing law firm with significant opportunities for professional development and advancement. Responsibilities Manage litigation and collections matters in Mississippi and other jurisdictions. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and related legal documents. Attend hearings and court proceedings as required. Communicate with clients regarding case status and litigation strategy. Review legal filings for compliance with applicable court rules and procedures. Collaborate with attorneys and staff across multiple jurisdictions. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active law license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Mississippi law license preferred. Willingness and ability to obtain Mississippi licensure if not currently licensed. Indiana and/or Illinois licensure is a plus. Strong legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to manage a significant caseload while maintaining attention to detail. Prior litigation experience preferred. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based upon experience.
