This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Jeffersonville, Indiana, ideal for an attorney who wants hands-on litigation experience in a professional office setting.
Note:
Candidates must be licensed in Indiana and have at least 3 years of civil litigation experience. Kentucky licensure is strongly preferred. Job Description Manage a portfolio of litigation matters from case evaluation through resolution Develop and execute case strategy, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents Prepare cases for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial Represent clients in court, including arguing motions and examining witnesses Collaborate with attorneys and litigation support staff on active matters Communicate directly with clients regarding strategy, developments, risks, and next steps Prioritize deadlines and manage multiple cases while delivering high-quality work product Qualifications JD from an accredited law school Active Indiana law license in good standing Kentucky licensure strongly preferred 3+ years of civil litigation experience Experience managing cases through discovery and trial preparation Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Strong oral advocacy and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a solid work ethic Experience with financial institutions litigation is a plus Why You Will Love Working Here You will join a respected firm where attorneys are trusted with meaningful responsibility and sophisticated work.
