Location:
This position is based in South Bend, Indiana. Attorneys should expect to be in the office the majority of the time initially, with hybrid flexibility available after training.

Candidates should have a J.D., be licensed to practice law in Indiana or able to become licensed promptly, and have relevant civil litigation experience. Job Description Handle a variety of civil litigation matters from intake through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, settlement documents, and client correspondence Conduct legal research and develop practical case strategy Manage discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, negotiations, and court appearances Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and internal team members Work on business disputes, contract litigation, employment matters, real estate disputes, construction issues, and related litigation Collaborate with partners and staff while independently managing assigned matters Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Indiana law license preferred, or ability to become licensed promptly 3+ years of civil litigation experience preferred Strong writing, research, advocacy, and analytical skills Ability to manage files independently and professionally Deposition, hearing, mediation, or trial preparation experience preferred Portable business is welcome, but not required Why You Will Love Working Here Broad litigation exposure without being boxed into one narrow practice area Collaborative team culture with experienced attorneys and strong support staff Opportunity to take ownership of matters and grow professionally Hybrid flexibility available after training Stable firm environment with long-term career potential South Bend offers affordable living, strong community, and access to Notre Dame, Lake Michigan, and Chicago
