- Position Overview
- Operating with a high degree of independence, the Senior Immigration Advisor combines advanced technical immigration knowledge, strong judgment, and exceptional stakeholder service to support foreign national employees, candidates, and internal partners across the organization.
- District Overview
- Kiewit's HR Operations Immigration team manages all employment‑based immigration needs, ensuring employees receive clear guidance and a smooth, compliant experience. By partnering closely with employees, managers, and legal experts, the team helps support mobility, work authorization, and long‑term talent needs across the company.
- Location
- This is a full time in office role located at our downtown Omaha, NE Kiewit Headquarters or in our regional headquarters Lenexa, KS. Candidates are expected to report in office daily to Omaha, NE or Lenexa, KS office.
- Responsibilities
- + Serve as a trusted resource for foreign national employees and candidates, providing clear non-technical guidance on immigration processes, timelines, and expectations.
- Qualifications
- Required
- + Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience + 5+ years of corporate immigration experience (in-house and/or law firm) + Strong knowledge of U.S., Canadian and global employment-based immigration programs. + Experience partnering with outside immigration counsel + Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred
- + Paralegal certification preferred + Experience in a large or complex organization + Familiarity with immigration case management systems + Experience supporting audit or compliance activities \#LI-AK1
