Associate Attorney - Commercial Established (90+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Commercial Litigation Attorney in Baton Rouge, LA An established firm based in Baton Rouge, LA with over 90 years in practice is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with 2+ years of litigation experience to join their team onsite. This role focuses on commercial litigation and business disputes , representing businesses and individuals in contract, commercial, and general civil litigation matters throughout Louisiana state and federal courts.

Qualifications:
2+ years of commercial litigation exposure strongly preferred Familiarity with contract disputes, business torts, and general commercial litigation matters Juris Doctorate and active Louisiana Bar membership in good standing Law school transcripts required as part of the application Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex documents and case files Excellent attention to detail, organization, and professionalism in a deadline-driven environment
Responsibilities:
Handling commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution Managing cases through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation Drafting motions, briefs, discovery responses, and dispositive filings Conducting and defending depositions of parties, witnesses, and corporate representatives Reviewing and analyzing contracts, business records, and financial documentation Communicating regularly with clients regarding case strategy, risk, and exposure Appearing in state and federal court for hearings, conferences, and trials as needed For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
