Associate Attorney | In-Person Only | Flexible Schedule Shore Estate Law, based in Wareham, MA (with services in Maine), is a boutique estate planning and probate firm that puts people first. Our Planning Sessions aren't stiff legal lectures — they're real conversations that help families protect what matters most. Role:
This is an in-person Associate Attorney position focused on leading Planning Sessions with prospective clients. You'll work directly with and learn from Attorney Jilian Morton, stepping into a client-facing role where your ability to connect, guide, and build trust matters just as much as your legal knowledge. This is not a back-office drafting role. This is the front line of the firm.
What You'll Do:
Lead 60-90 minute in-person Planning Sessions with prospective clients Review intake materials and client goals ahead of time Guide families through estate planning options in clear, practical language Build trust and help clients make confident decisions Submit post-session notes (our team handles drafting and admin)
Who You Are:
Licensed Massachusetts attorney (Maine a plus) 2+ years of estate planning experience (wills, trusts, POAs) Strong people skills — able to connect, listen, and lead conversations naturally Confident in front of clients and comfortable guiding decisions Preferably local to the South Coast and familiar with the community Looking to grow under mentorship and be part of a modern, relationship-driven firm
Compensation:
Competitive salary (based on experience) Performance-based bonuses Paid weekly
