Job Description
Type of Law:
Prosecution of State crimes occurring within the geographical jurisdiction of Charles County, Maryland.Job Description:
ASAs will appear in the District and Circuit Court for Charles County, Maryland and represent the State in criminal cases. Each attorney is responsible for litigating his/her assigned cases , to include advising police entities on investigations, reviewing and approving search and seizure warrants, providing discovery, summonsing and interviewing witnesses , obtaining physical and digital evidence for use at trial, preparing pleadings, litigating pre-trial motions, litigating jury/bench trials, litigating sentencing hearings , litigating hearings on post-conviction and reconsideration of sentence motions , and other duties as assigned.Salary:
Starting at $95,000. Starting salary dependent upon prior prosecutorial experience. Medical, dental and pension benefits included.Experience:
5-10 years of experience. Must be admitted to the Maryland Bar.Documents Required:
