About the FirmOur growing construction law firm in Towson, Maryland is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney to join our dynamic practice. We represent owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and design professionals in a wide range of construction-related matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to take on sophisticated work with significant client contact and responsibility.

Position OverviewThe Senior Associate Attorney will play a key role in handling complex construction law matters, including contract drafting and negotiation, dispute resolution, litigation, risk management, and day-to-day legal counseling. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and a proven ability to manage matters independently while collaborating closely with partners and clients.

Key ResponsibilitiesHandle a broad range of construction law matters from inception through resolutionDraft, review, and negotiate construction contracts and related agreementsAdvise clients on project risk, claims avoidance, and compliance issuesManage litigation, arbitration, mediation, and other dispute resolution proceedingsConduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documentsRepresent clients in court, arbitration hearings, mediations, and depositionsProvide practical, business-oriented counsel to clients in the construction industrySupport client development efforts and help maintain strong client relationshipsMentor junior attorneys and collaborate with legal support staff as needed
