Job Description

Alexander & Angelas, P.C. is a well-established law firm seeking a capable candidate to fill an open associate attorney position. This associate will support the law firm's insurance defense practice representing nationally recognized corporations, motor carriers, insurance companies and private companies in Michigan. Canidate would be involved in all aspects of civil litigation - drafting pleadings, discovery, depositions, court appearances, ADR, medical records review, insurance coverage issues, research, client communications and general civil litigation advocacy. Canidate will report directly to named partner who has 38 years of insurance defense litigation experience. There is an opportunity for rapid advancement and potential equity opportunity for canidate who exhibits the ability to attract and retain clients, manage a case load, and perform the administrative functions related to the law firm's business. Salary and benefits are very competitive. We have very welcoming, collegial and comfortable offices.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have 2-3 years no-fault litigation experience. Strong research and writing, oral advocacy, case management, discovery practice, ADR, client relations, client development, and practice management skills. Must be a licensed Michigan attorney in good standing.
