Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. In this vital role, you will support a diverse range of legal matters across multiple practice areas, including criminal defense, CPS, family law, and more. Your expertise will contribute to delivering comprehensive legal services to clients while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal skills in a fast-paced environment while making a meaningful impact through diligent research, precise legal drafting, and strategic negotiation. Duties Conduct thorough legal research utilizing tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and legal analysis. Draft clear and effective legal documents including pleadings, contracts, memoranda, and correspondence tailored to each case's needs. Assist in managing a busy law office by organizing case files, maintaining accurate records, and supporting administrative tasks related to litigation and client management. Support attorneys in negotiating settlements and agreements across various practice areas such as family law, landlord-tenant disputes, or securities transactions. Prepare for court proceedings by reviewing case files, summarizing evidence, and coordinating with clients and witnesses. Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions. Experience Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission or eligibility to sit for the bar exam. Prior experience in a law office setting demonstrating familiarity with legal research tools such as LexisNexis if preferred but not necessary. Proven ability to conduct detailed legal research across diverse practice areas. Strong writing skills with the ability to produce well-organized legal drafts and correspondence under tight deadlines. Experience in litigation support including case preparation and client communication is highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of legal administrative processes and procedures necessary for effective case management. Excellent negotiation skills complemented by a proactive approach to problem-solving within complex legal frameworks. Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
