Job Description

Have you thought about moving Up North to Traverse City? Alward Fisher is excited to announce the need for a Senior Associate/Lateral Partner to support our growing practice areas. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of legal experience that includes either transactional or courtroom work, excellent academic credentials, and superior verbal and written communication skills. All submissions will be held in strict confidence.
Requirements and Responsibilities:
Admitted to the Michigan State Bar 5 or more years of experience in a position that required client contact and litigation Technical knowledge of and ability to use MS Office Suite and legal research software Acute analytical and critical thinking skills Capable of clearly expressing written and oral ideas with proper grammar, formatting, and decorum Ability to multitask, manage changing deadlines, client demands and multiple cases Attention to detail and accuracy Effective time management, planning and organization skills to accomplish tasks in a timely manner Alward Fisher offers a competitive benefits package including 401(k) as well as the opportunity for origination and performance bonuses.
