Removal Defense Attorney About Us We are a family-based immigration law firm dedicated to serving immigrant communities with compassion, excellence, and advocacy. Our practice specializes in humanitarian relief, including VAWA self-petitions, T visas, and U visas, while also defending immigrant rights through cutting-edge federal litigation. We believe in combining strategic courtroom advocacy with client-centered representation to rebuke injustices and hold government agencies accountable. Position Overview The Removal Defense Attorney will represent clients in removal proceedings and related humanitarian and family-based cases. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney ready to deepen courtroom experience and grow within a collaborative, supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Represent clients in removal proceedings before EOIR, including master and individual hearings. Prepare and file asylum, cancellation of removal, motions, and appeals. Collaborate with paralegals and senior attorneys to prepare strong factual and legal records. Maintain consistent communication with clients in Spanish and English. Conduct legal research, draft briefs and memoranda, and develop litigation strategies. Participate in training and case strategy sessions. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school; active bar license in good standing (any state). 2-4 years of immigration law experience, including removal defense or humanitarian cases. Fluency in Spanish and English required. Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills. Compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to immigrant rights.
