(Purpose of the Position): The Office of the General Counsel and Vice President for Human Resources is seeking applicants for Student Legal Assistant. The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail and prior experience working in a confidential environment.Transferable Skills:

Gathering legal and economic information and data Assisting with mailings, filing and other clerical tasks Other duties as assigned byGeneral Counsel Qualifications:
(Education/Experience/Skills) Strong research and analytic skills: ability to locate, evaluate and summarize information from legal databases, statutes, case law, academic journals, and government sources.Excellent written communication skills:
clear and professional writing is important for drafting research summaries, memo, citations, and reports with accuracy and attention to detail. Organization, confidentiality, and time management: legal research positions often involve handling sensitive information, meeting deadlines, managing multiple assignments, and maintaining accurate records.
