Job Description

Established (20+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Litigation Associate Attorney for Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice in Kansas City, MOAn established firm based in Kansas City with over 20 years in practice is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2+ years of experience to join their team onsite. This Attorney will have experience with personal injury and/or medical malpractice litigation, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and representing clients in state and federal courts.
Offer:
Salary range: $115,000-$150,000, contingent on experienceFull medical, dental, and vision coverage (100% covered for employee)Paid downtown covered parking401(k) with firm matchPaid time off and CLE support
Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a J.D. from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice in Missouri. They should have at least two years of litigation experience, strong research and writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases independently. Prior experience in trial preparation and client interaction is preferred.
Responsibilities:
The attorney will draft and argue motions, conduct depositions, manage discovery, and assist in trial preparation. They will maintain client communication, ensure compliance with procedural rules, and collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
