Job Description

Established (40+ Years) Full Service Regional Firm Seeking Associate Attorney for Insurance Defense Litigation in Ridgeland, MSAn established full service Mississippi-based litigation firm with over 40 years in practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-2+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation to join their team onsite near Ridgeland, MS. This role involves handling matters such as motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and general personal injury defense, with travel throughout the state for court appearances, depositions, and client meetings.
Offer:

Qualifications:
1-2+ years of experience in insurance defense litigationExperience with motor vehicle, slip and fall, and other general liability mattersJuris Doctorate (JD) and active Mississippi Bar membershipAbility to travel throughout the state as neededCommutable to the Ridgeland, MS area
Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters across MississippiAttend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trialsPrepare and respond to discovery and motionsCommunicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courtsContribute to case strategy in collaboration with senior attorneys
