Civil Litigation Associate Attorney 📍 Charlotte, NC | Onsite | Confidential Opportunity GPAC has partnered with a respected and established law firm seeking a Civil Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing litigation team in Charlotte. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain substantial hands-on litigation experience while working alongside a collaborative and well-regarded group of attorneys. The firm is known for providing high-quality representation across a broad range of civil litigation matters and offers a professional environment that values mentorship, teamwork, and long-term career development. Responsibilities Handle civil litigation matters from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy recommendations Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and court appearances Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel Manage case files and maintain litigation deadlines Assist with trial preparation and overall litigation strategy Collaborate closely with attorneys and support staff on active matters Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active admission to the North Carolina Bar preferred 2+ years of civil litigation experience required Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills Ability to independently manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities Courtroom, deposition, or hearing experience is a plus Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Performance-based bonus opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement benefits Paid time off and firm holidays Professional development and mentorship opportunities Stable and collaborative work environment with long-term growth potential For confidential consideration, please apply directly or email: zach.zink@gogpac.com
