Actively interviewing - APPLY NOW!! 🏡 HOA Attorney (2+ Years) | Charlotte, NC | Entry-Level Friendly Are you a newer attorney looking to build a strong, long-term niche in HOA / Community Association law ? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected firm in Charlotte that is willing to invest in and develop the right attorney with a strong interest in this space. We're seeking a motivated attorney with 2+ years of experience (or strong exposure/interest) in HOA work , including collections, lien enforcement, and governance matters .
What You'll Do:
Provide legal counsel on HOA governance, bylaws, contracts, and compliance Work closely with HOA boards and management companies , ensuring clear, effective communication Handle collections, lien filings, and enforcement actions Conduct legal research on real estate and community association law updates Assist with litigation and dispute resolution as needed Draft and review declarations, amendments, contracts, and governing documents Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and related proceedings
What We're Looking For:
Active North Carolina license (REQUIRED) South Carolina license is a PLUS (or willingness/ability to waive in) 2+ years of experience or strong interest in HOA / real estate law Experience with collections, liens, and governance work is a MUST Strong writing, research, and communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Litigation exposure is helpful, but not required If you're looking to build a career (not just a job) in HOA law with a firm that values growth and development-this is one you don't want to miss.
