Temporary Attorney Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented civil litigation attorney to perform overflow work temporarily. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of legal disciplines, including construction and landlord tenant law. Duties Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis to support case preparation and legal analysis across various practice areas. Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, memoranda, and correspondence with precision and clarity Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, negotiations, and client meetings by organizing case files and summarizing relevant information. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school or equivalent qualification required Two years experience in civil litigation Valid license to practice law in North Carolina and in good standing with NC Bar. Proficiency in legal research platforms such as LexisNexis is essential Exceptional writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal documents Strong legal drafting capabilities coupled with excellent analytical skills Position available immediately. Duration is dependent on our overflow work needs.
