You'll handle a steady flow of straightforward real estate and corporate transactional work, partnering with senior attorneys and the business teams who keep our operations moving. It's a hands-on, document-driven role with room to grow into more complex matters over time. What you'll do Review and draft commercial leases, amendments, and related agreements Draft and review a range of contracts and routine corporate documents Prepare landlord-tenant paperwork, including demand letters, default notices, and lockout documentation Support routine real estate transactions and related closing documents Assist with corporate and entity matters such as formation, governance, and routine filings Maintain and improve document templates to standardize recurring work Flag legal and compliance issues and escalate matters that need senior review Required qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) Active membership in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar Approximately 1+ year of legal experience (1-3 years ideal); we welcome attorneys early in their careers Solid contract drafting and review skills, with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Preferred Exposure to commercial real estate, leasing, or property management work Familiarity with landlord-tenant, default, or lockout processes Comfort working hands-on and asking questions in a collaborative, operations-driven setting How to apply Submit your resume to be considered.
