Job Description

A growing and well-respected practice is seeking a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join its team. This role offers the chance to independently manage a defense caseload while working in a collaborative, well-supported environment with strong professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a workers' compensation defense caseload with autonomy and sound judgment. Conduct depositions, mediations, and hearings; successfully try cases as needed. Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with assigned clients. Participate in business development and marketing initiatives. Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture. Utilize technology to efficiently manage files and clients within a paperless environment.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of workers' compensation or relevant litigation experience. Licensed and in good standing to practice in North Carolina. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized with strong time-management skills. Team-oriented with a commitment to collaborative success.
